Kamelle Competition in Spain

Kamelle Competition at Lope de Vega Primary School in Spain has been too much fun for the kids once again. Six groups of three different years participated in this competition and the results were so different, but so close to each other. The age of the students was not a reason to get behind in the competition. I am going to writing down the best results.
You can see these results of the competition in November 2012 below. Thank you so much for the Physical Education Teacher who made students have such fun. And congratulations to the winners:

Team Gold: Costi, Lucía, Mireya, Davinia ----- Year 4, Group A  They did the competition in only 2 minutes and 44 seconds.

Team Silver:  Samuel, Raúl, Juan, Carolina, Nerea ----- Year 1, Group B  They did the competition in only 2 minutes and 51 seconds.

Team Bronce: Manolo, Violeta, Darío, Martín, Miguel Ángel, Luna ----- Year 2, Group A  They did the competition in only 3 minutes.

Pig Herding at Deutschherrenschule

Since we somehow got the rules all wrong, we did a different kind of Pig Herding - we had three pig herders move a whole class over a distance of 20 metres. But it was all the same great fun!! Classes 2a and 2c competed each other and they were equally good pig herders!! Congratulations!!

September Event: Team Pig Herding!!

Hello, Friends and Welcome back to school.  Prairie Vale in Oklahoma, USA is proud to host the September Games:

Team Pig Herding

Have the students partner up. Each team will consist of 2 players.

2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades will have to heard their "pigs" 20 meters.

Pre-K, K, and 1st will heard their "pigs" 10 meters.

When the teacher signals GO, the two students have to use teamwork

to heard their pig using their flyswatters only to the finish line. The team with the quickest time

wins GOLD!

In Lombardsijde all the children between 6 and 10 years did     the 3-legged race

TRICOLOURED RELAY RULES:

Mons D.Sisca Primary School will host March's event, a tricoloured relay race.

Draw 3 rings (red-white-green) on the wall (hula hoop size) or put the 3 coloured rings on
the ground. For each ring, a throw line 3 meters from the wall if 1st
year class is involved, 4 meters for 2nd year class, and so on.
Divide the children into three groups with a soccer or playground ball for each group.
The first player runs, stops at the line and throws the ball up to
the ring (trying to make a basket), catches the ball and passes it to the
second player.
The time is recorded for the first group to finish. There will be 2 seconds subtracted from their final time for each scored basket (ex.
time 30sec +5 baskets=35sec-10sec=25sec).
